The Tanks and Pipeworks Ltd team of professionals has served the downstream market with fuel services, installation and pollution control for over 20 years. Our reputation and portfolio has grown as we have diversified into emerging markets and new technologies  and changed to meet environmental demands and legislation driven by policy change and greater environmental awareness.

Assisting our portfolio of customers with the pace of change using our growing resources, equipment and knowledge base. We provide products and services to government organisations such as M.O.D's major fuel disruption companies, downstream independent fuel traders and international partners.

Environment

Enviromental Policy Statement

Tanks and Pipeworks Limited is committed to working with others towards establishing and then maintaining environmentally safe working practices that have minimal effect on the environment. The aims are to reduce waste and the consumption of resources, to reduce or eliminate the production of polluting releases into the environment within our sphere of influence.

Tanks and Pipeworks Ltd is ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 registered.

The Government working together with industry aims to reduce the amount of hazardous waste generated in the UK and the hazardousness of such waste. Hazardous waste poses particular risks to health and the environment so it is especially important that they are managed properly.

The APEA is a UK based organisation, drawing membership from all quarters of the petroleum industry. This includes regulators from National and Local Government Authorities, Oil Companies, Equipment Manufacturers and Suppliers, Service and Installation Organisations, Training Establishments and many others.

The Environment Agency is responsible for maintaining or improving the quality of fresh, marine, surface and underground water in England and Wales.

Their regulations guide the installation and decommissioning of all fuel tanks, both above and below ground.

We are registered with the Environment Agency as an upper tier waste carrier and dealer, registration number CBDU131390

Health and Safety

Our intensive training programmes are constantly reviewed to ensure compliance with all the latest "HSE" regulations, safety, welfare and occupational risk for all our workforce.

We have over 1000 years of people experience operating within the organisation at any one time.

Our risk assessments and methods of work comply with company manuals and procedures, but are discretely job specific.

 

We operate internationally and regularly bench mark our health and safety performance against the requirements of other nations.
